The 1015 Onion Festival is celebrated every year here. These onions are real sweet and locals will eat them raw or cooked. The name, I was told, references the date to plant the onions.This is the free bag of onions line!Mary keeps running in to this old guy and wants a picture of him just in case we need to ID him.There was a car show going on too! That’s what I’m talking about… Onions and hot rods! Does life get much better. And the old guy in the picture is looking younger but I miss the facial hair. Its was a really big deal around here. I didn’t know onions were so important! The cars were really cool!
