1015 Onion Festival in Weslaco, TX 3/23

The 1015 Onion Festival is celebrated every year here. These onions are real sweet and locals will eat them raw or cooked. The name, I was told, references the date to plant the onions.
This is the free bag of onions line!
Mary keeps running in to this old guy and wants a picture of him just in case we need to ID him.
There was a car show going on too! Cool looking RatRod.
I think this is a 52 Chevy. Love the suicide doors!

  1. That’s what I’m talking about… Onions and hot rods! Does life get much better. And the old guy in the picture is looking younger but I miss the facial hair. Thanks for the posts and pictures that include the two of you. It was great to see you during the Spring Break Mission Trip and thanks so much for helping out!
