This is shrimp season but diesel fuel to too costly for the boats to to go out and fish. Our guide said it costs about $75,000 to fill the fuel tanks!Ship waiting to be demo’d. Recycling ships is a big business in Brownsville.This will be SpaceX’s sea going mobile launch platform. Starbase is just a few miles from here. I could see the Starships, the launch pad and buildings but they were too far off for pictures.Construction of an off-shore drilling platform.This is a sea going barge. It is designed to be pushed or pulled by a tug boat in open waters. If the need arises, the tug boat can switch from pushing to pulling the barge in open waters.Another picture of the barge.
