This is the exciting finish of one of the races at Winter Ranch Downs. I think Mary and I won $1.50!

Cinder chill’n in the trailer! She gets more exercise now than she did before retirement. She retired too!

Bikes loaded for our trip to Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge by the Rio Grande River. We biked about 8 miles. That’s pretty good for two old people.

We are at the Winter Ranch RV Resort in Alamo, Texas. Alamo is about 4 miles east of McAllen. It’s January 2, 2023.

This is our space for the next two months. Real nice people and facility.

San Antonio, Texas. December 30, 2022. Not the best place to stay for 3 nights. Our trailer was about 10 feet away from the next door neighbor. We could not extend our awning, it would hit the trailer next to us. It was a nice park otherwise.

Cinder is guarding our Starlink satellite internet access downlink. I do like Starlink!

This is our first stop on Mary and Tim’s Big Adventure. We are in Point Port, Texas. It’s December 28, 2022. We’ll be here for 2 nights. We plan to unwind from the closing on our house and all the work up to that point.
